Again a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true both in him and in you; because the darkness is passed, and the true light now shineth.


AND as they were speaking to the people, the priests, and the officer of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,


5 Pilate answered: Am I a Jew? Thy own nation, and the chief priests, have delivered thee up to me: what hast thou done?


3 Pilate therefore went into the hall again, and called Jesus, and said to him: Art thou the king of the Jews?


7 And he thought within himself, saying: What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?


Then Judas, who betrayed him, seeing that he was condemned, repenting himself, brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and ancients,


1 He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet, shall receive the reward of a prophet: and he that receiveth a just man in the name of a just man, shall receive the reward of a just man.


4 And they blindfolded him, and smote his face. And they asked him, saying: Prophesy, who is it that struck thee?


6 And as soon as it was day, the ancients of the people, and the chief priests and scribes, cane together; and they brought him into their council, saying: If thou be the Christ, tell us.
