7 And should sleep, and rise, night and day, and the seed should spring, and grow up whilst he knoweth not.


8 But he that knew not, and did things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. And unto whomsoever much is given, of him much shall be required: and to whom they have committed much, of him they will demand the more.


9 Or know you not, that your members are the temple of the Holy Ghost, who is in you, whom you have from God; and you are not your own ?


2 He that shall overcome, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God; and he shall go out no more; and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God, and my new name.


And this is the declaration which we have heard from him, and declare unto you: That God is light, and in him there is no darkness.


For if any man think himself to be some thing, whereas he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.


Already indeed there is plainly a fault among you, that you have lawsuits one with another. Why do you not rather take wrong? Why do you not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?


0 Suffer both to grow until the harvest, and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers: Gather up first the cockle, and bind it into bundles to burn, but the wheat gather ye into my barn.


9 The wind hath bound them up in its wings, and they shall be confounded because of their sacrifices.


5 For you have said : We have entered into a league with death, and we have made a covenant with hell. When the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come upon us: for we have placed our hope in lies, and by falsehood we are protected.


6 And you shall be betrayed by your parents and brethren, and kinsmen and friends; and some of you they will put to death.


5 And you also know, O Philippians, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but you only:


1 And it came to pass, as he was going to Jerusalem, he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.


And he from within should answer, and say: Trouble me not, the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee.


2 And it came to pass on a certain day that he went into a little ship with his disciples, and he said to them: Let us go over to the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.


7 And woe to them that are with child, and that give suck in those days.


1 When a pestilent man is punished, the little one will be wiser: and if he follow the wise, he will receive knowledge.


4 And to Jesus the mediator of the new testament, and to the sprinkling of blood which speaketh better than that of Abel.


5 But they rejoiced against me, and came together : scourges were gathered together upon me, and I knew not.


1 And she arose and bowed herself down with her face to the earth, and said: Behold, let thy servant be a handmaid, to wash the feet of the servants of my lord.


4 And all the nations shall say: Why hath the Lord done thus to this land? what meaneth this exceeding great heat of his wrath?


4 The breast also that is offered, and the shoulder that is separated, you shall eat in a most clean place, thou and thy sons, and thy daughters with thee. For they are set aside for thee and thy children, of the victims of peace offerings of the children of Israel:


That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the word of life:


2 Come, let us make him drunk with wine, and let us lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.


7 For a harlot is a deep ditch: and a strange woman is a narrow pit.


Dying flies spoil the sweetness of the ointment. Wisdom and glory is more precious than a small and shortlived folly.


And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.


5 They made their father drink wine that night also, and the younger daughter went in, and lay with him: and neither then did he perceive when she lay down, nor when she rose up.


4 He went, and brought, and gave them to his mother. She dressed meats, such as she knew his father liked.
