2 I will praise thee, O Lord my God: with my whole heart, and I will glorify thy name for ever:


Shall not Sion say: This man and that man is born in her? and the Highest himself hath founded her.


2 In whom you also are built together into an habitation of God in the Spirit.


3 And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and queens thy nurses: they shall worship thee with their face toward the earth, and they shall lick up the dust of thy feet. And thou shalt know that I am the Lord, for they shall not be confounded that wait for him.


And lifting up his eyes, he saw the women and their children, and said: What mean these? And do they belong to thee? He answered: They are the children which God hath given to me thy servant.

8 And as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to throw down, and to scatter, and destroy, and afflict: so will I watch over them, to build up, and to plant them, saith the Lord.


Is this such a fast as I have chosen: for a man to afflict his soul for a day? is this it, to wind his head about like a circle, and to spread sackcloth and ashes? wilt thou call this a fast, and a day acceptable to the Lord?


0 And the father said to Joseph: Now shall I die with joy, because I have seen thy face, and leave thee alive.


5 And Joseph kissed all his brethren, and wept upon every one of them: after which they were emboldened to ,peak to him.


But we having finished the voyage by sea, from Tyre came down to Ptolemais: and saluting the brethren, we abode one day with them.


7 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord increased daily together such as should be saved.


And he prevailed over the angel, and was strengthened: he wept, and made supplication to him: he found him in Bethel, and there he spoke with us.


Moreover when any man came to him to salute him, he put forth his hand, and took him, and kissed him.


7 And he said to him: Thy brother is come, and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe.


9 And he answering, said to his father: Behold, for so many years do I serve thee, and I have never transgressed thy commandment, and yet thou hast never given me a kid to make merry with my friends:
