7 Be ye followers of me, brethren, and observe them who walk so as you have our model.


2 And now I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, who is able to build up, and to give an inheritance among all the sanctified.


And I saw one of his heads as it were slain to death: and his death's wound was healed. And all the earth was in admiration after the beast.


4 Of the fruits brought forth by the sun and by the moon.


1 Or hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump, to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?


0 And shall say to them: This our son is rebellious and stubborn, he slighteth hearing our admonitions, he giveth himself to revelling, and to debauchery and banquetings:


3 So likewise every one of you that doth not renounce all that he possesseth, cannot be my disciple.


5 And when the ark was lifted up, Moses said: Arise, O Lord, and let thy enemies be scattered, and let them that hate thee, flee from before thy face.


the proud have hidden a net for me. And they have stretched out cords for a snare: they have laid for me a stumblingblock by the wayside.


8 For which of you having a mind to build a tower, doth not first sit down, and reckon the charges that are necessary, whether he have wherewithal to finish it:
