Honour thy father and thy mother, which is the first commandment with a promise:


0 For you are bought with a great price. Glorify and bear God in your body.


And thou shalt pour the oil of unction upon his head: and by this rite shall he be consecrated.


3 Thus saith the Lord God: In the day that I shall cleanse you from all your iniquities, and shall cause the cities to be inhabited, and shall repair the ruinous places,


4 Therefore saith the Lord the God of hosts, the mighty one of Israel: Ah! I will comfort myself over my adversaries: and I will be revenged of my enemies.


4 Deliver me from blood, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall extol thy justice.


Turn away thy face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.


The psalm of David before he was anointed. The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the protector of my life: of whom shall I be afraid?


7 So in the first month of the second year, the first day of the month, the tabernacle was set up.


2 And the Lord spoke to Moses,


And the seven angels, who had the seven trumpets, prepared themselves to sound the trumpet.


1 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.


9 For when every commandment of the law had been read by Moses to all the people, he took the blood of calves and goats, with water, and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,


And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined: and I will try them as gold is tried. They shall call on my name, and I will hear them. I will say: Thou art my people: and they shall say: The Lord is my God.


3 Saying: Take spices, of principal and chosen myrrh five hundred sicles, and of cinnamon half so much, that is, two hundred and fifty sicles, of calamus in like manner two hundred and fifty.


0 He took also the oil of unction, with which he anointed the tabernacle, with all the furniture thereof.


That whose lot fell to be offered to the Lord, he shall offer for sin:
