2 And he shall put some of the same blood upon the horns of the altar of the sweet incense most acceptable to the Lord, which is in the tabernacle of the testimony. And he shall pour all the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar of holocaust in the entry of the tabernacle.

6 For where there is a testament, the death of the testator must of necessity come in.


We will rejoice in thy salvation; and in the name of our God we shall be exalted.


2 But if he offer of the flock a victim for his sin, to wit, an ewe without blemish:


From whence are wars and contentions among you? Are they not hence, from your concupiscences, which war in your members?


1 Of whom we have much to say, and hard to be intelligibly uttered: because you are become weak to hear.


For kings, and for all that are in high station: that we may lead a quiet and a peaceable life in all piety and chastity.


2 And falling upon the spoils, they took sheep, and oxen, and calves, and slew them on the ground: and the people ate them with the blood.


(Yet so, if thou keep his commandments, and do the things which I command thee this day, that thou love the Lord thy God, and walk in his ways at all times) thou shalt add to thee other three cities, and shalt double the number of the three cities aforesaid:


7 And if any one of the people of the land shall sin through ignorance, doing any of those things that by the law of the Lord are forbidden, and offending,


8 And he shall put of the same blood on the horns of the altar that is before the Lord, in the tabernacle of the testimony: and the rest of the blood he shall pour at the foot of the altar of holocaust, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony.


And Abimelech called also for Abraham, and said to him: What hast thou done to us? what have we offended thee in, that thou hast brought upon me and upon my kingdom a great sin? thou hast done to us what thou oughtest not to do.


And having dipped his finger in the blood, he shall sprinkle with it seven times before the Lord, before the veil of the sanctuary.


9 To be offered by you, it shall be a male without blemish of the beeves, or of the sheep, or of the goats.


6 If any man strike with iron, and he die that was struck : he shall be guilty of murder, and he himself shall die.


3 There is also another grievous evil, which I have seen under the sun: riches kept to the hurt of the owner.


The Lord fulfil all thy petitions: now have I known that the Lord hath saved his anointed. He will hear him from his holy heaven: the salvation of his right hand is in powers.
