Thus saith the Lord: Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.


1 That you may suck, and be filled with the breasts of her consolations: that you may milk out, and flow with delights, from the abundance of her glory.


2 I will number you in the sword, and you shall all fall by slaughter: because I called and you did not answer: I spoke, and you did not hear: and you did evil in my eyes, and you have chosen the things that displease me.


1 How is the faithful city, that was full of judgment, become a harlot? justice dwelt in it, but now murderers.


0 You shall eat it the same day, there shall not any of it remain until the morning of the next day. I am the Lord.


8 Whether it be a cow, or a sheep, they shall not be sacrificed the same day with their young ones.


1 You shall not steal. You shall not lie, neither shall any man deceive his neighbour.


3 Thou shalt not calumniate thy neighbour, nor oppress him by violence. The wages of him that hath been hired by thee shall not abide with thee until the morning.
