3 Is any of you sad? Let him pray. Is he cheerful in mind? Let him sing.


3 Your words have been unsufferable to me, saith the Lord.


1 I spoke to thee in thy properity: and thoiu saidst: I will not hear: this hath been thy way from thy youth, because thou hast not heard my voice.


7 The bread of lying is sweet to a man: but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.


7 And Jesus looking on them, saith: With men it is impossible; but not with God: for all things are possible with God.


Who were clothed with blue, princes, and rulers, beautiful youths, all horsemen, mounted upon horses.


1 For thus saith the Lord to Sellum the son of Josias the king of Juda, who reigned instead of his father, who went forth out of this place: He shall return hither no more:


4 And my rage shall be enkindled, and I will strike you with the sword, and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.


8 Wizards thou shalt not suffer to live.


5 For this we say unto you in the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who remain unto the coming of the Lord, shall not prevent them who have slept.


1 Now it came to pass, when all the people were baptized, that Jesus also being baptized and praying, heaven was opened;


9 Hast thou seen a man swift in his work? he shall stand before kings, and shall not be before those that are obscure.


So Eliu waited while Job was speaking, because they were his elders that were speaking.


And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:


6 If a man seduce a virgin not yet espoused, and lie with her: he shall endow her, and have her to wife.


6 So shall the last be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen.


But they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but serve them the rather, because they are faithful and beloved, who are partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.


8 And all the people saw the voices and the flames, and the sound of the trumpet, and the mount smoking: and being terrified and struck with fear, they stood afar off,


0 If a man deliver ass, ox, sheep, or any beast, to his neighbour's custody, and it die, or be hurt, or be taken by enemies, and no man saw it:


0 Wherefore be you all converted, and come, and I shall not find among you any wise man.


5 The wise shall possess glory: the promotion of fools is disgrace.


5 That hath not eaten upon the mountains, nor lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, and hath not defiled his neighbour's wife:


0 As they gather silver, and brass, and tin, and iron, and lead in the midst of the furnace: that I may kindle a fire in it to melt it: so will I gather you together in my fury and in my wrath, and will take my rest, and I will melt you down.


9 And the ground may yield you its fruits, of which you may eat your fill, fearing no mall's invasion.


2 And the eighth year you shall sow, and shall eat of the old fruits, until the ninth year: till new grow up, you shall eat the old store.


Remember that my life is but wind, and my eyes shall not return to see good things.
