5 Because they have elevated before the Lord the shoulder and the breast, and the fat that is burnt on the altar, and they belong to thee and to thy sons by a perpetual law, as the Lord hath commanded.


1 The priests shall not eat of any thing that is dead of itself or caught by a beast, whether it be fowl or cattle.


Both the great and the little shall die in the land: they shall not be buried nor lamented, and men shall not cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them.


3 But thou shalt restore it to him presently before the going down of the sun: that he may sleep in his own raiment and bless thee, and thou mayst have justice before the Lord thy God.


Every bed on which he sleepeth, shall be unclean, and every place on which he sitteth.


If a man sit where that man hath sitten, he also shall wash his clothes: and being washed with water, shall be unclean until the evening.


And he shall command one of the sparrows to be immolated in an earthen vessel over living waters:
