2 And therefore it shall be burnt with fire.


3 But if he see that it is not grown,


Shall command him that is to be purified, to offer for himself two living sparrows, which it is lawful to eat, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop.


But the other that is alive he shall dip, with the cedar wood, and the scarlet and the hyssop, in the blood of the sparrow that is immolated:


Wherewith he shall sprinkle him that is to be cleansed seven times, that he may be rightly purified: and he shall let go the living sparrow, that it may fly into the field.


7 And if he see in the walls thereof as it were little dints, disfigured with paleness or redness, and lower than all the rest,


If ally man touch his bed, he shall wash his clothes: and being washed with water, he shall be unclean until the evening.


Unless he first do these things: He shall offer a calf for sin, and a ram for a holocaust.


He shall be vested with a linen tunick, he shall cover his nakedness with linen breeches: he shall be girded with a linen girdle, and he shall put a linen mitre upon his head: for these are holy vestments: all which he shall put on, after he is washed.


They shall abstain from wine, and from every thing that may make a man drunk. They shall not drink vinegar of wine, or of any other drink, nor any thing that is pressed out of the grape: nor shall they eat grapes either fresh or dried.


And they gave a thousand of every tribe, that is to say, twelve thousand men well appointed for battle.


Beyond the Jordan in the land of Moab. And Moses began to expound the law, and to say:
