And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off: and they shall beat their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into spades: nation shall not take sword against nation: neither shall they learn war any more.


1 And may teach the children of Israel all my ordinances which the Lord hath spoken to them by the hand of Moses.


5 And thou, O son of man, behold in the day wherein I will take away from them their strength, and the joy of their glory, and the desire of their eyes, upon which their souls rest, their sons and their daughters.


Remember, O Lord, what is come upon us: consider and behold our reproach.


0 And being asked by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come? he answered them, and said: The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:


And thou shalt say to the children of Ammon: Hear ye the word of the Lord God: Thus saith the Lord God: Because thou hast said: Ha, ha, upon my sanctuary, because it was profaned: and upon the land of Israel, because it was laid waste: and upon the house of Juda, because they are led into captivity:


5 He shall not mingle the stock of his kindred with the common people of his nation: for I am the Lord who sanctify him.


6 And he retired into the desert, and prayed.


I have spread forth my hands all the day to an unbelieving people, who walk in a way that is not good after their own thoughts.


3 And there shall be still a tithing therein, and she shall turn, and shall be made a show as a turpentine tree, and as an oak that spreadeth its branches: that which shall stand therein, shall be a holy seed.


0 Create a clean heart in me, O God: and renew a right spirit within my bowels.


1 Fear not, O land, be glad and rejoice: for the Lord hath done great things.


2 And Jeremias took another volume, and gave it to Baruch the son of Nerias the scribe: who wrote in it from the mouth of Jeremias all the words of the book which Joakim the king of Juda had burnt with fire: and there were added besides many more words than had been before.


For this gird yourselves with haircloth, lament and howl: for the fierce anger of the Lord is not turned away from us.


2 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation, and strengthen me with a perfect spirit.


3 And he had seven sons, and three daughters.


And the Lord said to Satan: Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a man simple, and upright, and fearing Cod, and avoiding evil, and still keeping his innocence ? But thou hast moved me against him, that I sho uld afflict him without cause.


4 And he came to the king, and said to him: Behold thy servant's sheep are shorn. Let the king, I pray, with his servants come to his servant.


0 And rending his garments he went to his brethren, and said: The boy doth not appear and whither shall I go?


Surely he hath borne our infirmities and carried our sorrows: and we have thought him as it were a leper, and as one struck by God and afflicted.


9 If it be infected with a white or red spot, it shall be accounted the leprosy, and shall be shewn to the priest.


So when these lepers were come to the beginning of the camp, they went into one tent, and ate and drank: and they took from thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went, and hid it: and they came again, and went into another tent, and carried from thence in like manner, and hid it.


They shall confess their sin, and restore the principal itself, and the fifth part over and above, to him against whom they have sinned.
