1 And the Lord smelled a sweet savour, and said: I will no more curse the earth for the sake of man: for the imagination and thought of man's heart are prone to evil from his youth: therefore I will no more destroy every living soul as I have done.


When any one shall offer an oblation of sacrifice to the Lord, his offering shall be of fine flour, and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense,


1 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.


Now if the ministration of death, engraven with letters upon stones, was glorious; so that the children of Israel could not steadfastly behold the face of Moses, for the glory of his countenance, which is made void:


9 And I said: Ah, ah, ah, O Lord God: they say of me: Doth not this man speak by parables?


6 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar, for the food of the fire, and of a most sweet savour. All the fat shall be the Lord's.


1 And when thou hast taken of the blood, that is upon the altar, and of the oil of unction, thou shalt sprinkle Aaron and his vesture, his sons and their vestments. And after they and their vestments are consecrated,

3 I will teach the unjust thy ways: and the wicked shall be converted to thee.


9 The fat also of the bullock, and the rump of the ram, and the two little kidneys, with their fat, and the caul of the liver,


6 And taking out of the basket; of unleavened bread, which was before the Lord, a loaf without leaven, and a cake tempered with oil and a wafer, he put them upon the fat, and the right shoulder,


If thy oblation be from the fryingpan, of flour tempered with oil, and without leaven,


8 Wherewith Aaron was consecrated and his sons, and they shall fall to Aarons share and his sons' by a perpetual right from the children of Israel: because they are the choicest and the beginnings of their peace victims which they offer to the Lord.


And it shall come to pass in that day, that there shall be no light, but cold and frost.


2 And I will pass through the land of Egypt that night, and will kill every firstborn in the land of Egypt both man and beast: and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am the Lord.


If any one sin, and hear the voice of one swearing, and is a witness either because he himself hath seen, or is privy to it: if he do not utter it, he shall bear his iniquity.


But when thou offerest a holocaust or sacrifice of oxen, to fulfil thy vow or for victims of peace offerings,


6 And in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, shall be the phase of the Lord,


2 What I command thee, that only do thou to the Lord: neither add any thing, nor diminish.


And if the sacrifice be from the gridiron, in like manner the flour shall be tempered with oil:


4 But if thou offer a gift of the firstfruits of thy corn to the Lord, of the ears yet green, thou shalt dry it at the fire, and break it small like meal, and so shalt thou offer thy firstfruits to the Lord,


And they shall burn them upon the altar, for a holocaust, putting fire under the wood: for an oblation of most sweet savour to the Lord.


0 With the kidneys, and the fat that covereth the belly and all the vitals and both the little kidneys, with the fat that is about the flanks, and the caul of the liver with the little kidneys.


9 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:


3 And you shall not go out of the door of the tabernacle for seven days, until the day wherein the time of your consecration shall be expired. For in seven days the consecration is finished:


2 And three tenths of flour tempered with oil in sacrifice for every calf: and two tenths of flour tempered with oil for every ram:


3 And the tenth of a tenth of flour tempered with oil in sacrifice for every lamb. It is a holocaust of most sweet odour and an offering by fire to the Lord.


9 And his brother Asaph, who stood on his right hand, Asaph the son of Barachias, the son of Samaa.


1 And Hiram made caldrons, and fleshhooks, and bowls: and finished all the king's work in the house of God:


6 But the chamber that looketh towards the north shall be for the priests that watch over the ministry of the altar. These are the sons of Sadoc, who among the sons of Levi, come near to the Lord, to minister to him.
