2 Then the Lord said to Satan: Behold, all that he hath is in thy hand: only put not forth thy hand upon his person. And Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.


Thou shalt divide it into little pieces, and shalt pour oil upon it.


7 The curtains of the court with the pillars and the sockets, the hanging in the doors of the entry,


0 Thou shalt present also the calf before the tabernacle of the testimony. And Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands upon his head,


Thou shalt clothe Aaron with his vestments, that is, with the linen garment and the tunick, and the ephod and the rational, which thou shalt gird with the girdle.


3 And it answered them: Can I forsake my wine, that cheereth God and men, and be promoted among the other trees?


5 And it answered them: If indeed you mean to make me king, come ye and rest under my shadow: but if you mean it not, let fire come out from the bramble, and devour the cedars of Libanus.
