3 Thou that makest thy boast of the law, by transgression of the law dishonourest God.


9 Only this I have found, that God made man right, and he hath entangled himself with an infinity of questions. Who is as the wise man? and who hath known the resolution of the word?


They are of the world: therefore of the world they speak, and the world heareth them.


WHAT advantage then hath the Jew, or what is the profit of circumcision?


8 I am one that give testimony of myself: and the Father that sent me giveth testimony of me.

For behold I was conceived in iniquities; and in sins did my mother conceive me.


I said: O Lord, be thou merciful to me : heal my soul, for I have sinned against thee.


Suffer me, and I will speak, and after, if you please, laugh at my words.

3 And Elias took the child, and brought him down from the upper chamber to the house below, and delivered him to his mother, and said to her: Behold thy son liveth.


And Solomon loved the Lord, walking in the precepts of David his father, only he sacrificed in the high places: and burnt incense.


0 Then Jesus lifting up himself, said to her: Woman, where are they that accused thee? Hath no man condemned thee?


1 Who said: No man, Lord. And Jesus said: Neither will I condemn thee. Go, and now sin no more.


6 And if I do judge, my judgment is true: because I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.
