Therefore, neither he that planteth is any thing, nor he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.


5 For he saith to Moses: I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy; and I will shew mercy to whom I will shew mercy.


When he had said these things, he himself stayed in Galilee.


The neighbours therefore, and they who had seen him before that he was a beggar, said: Is not this he that sat and begged? Some said: This is he.


4 And to shew that he raised him up from the dead, not to return now any more to corruption, he said thus: I will give you the holy things of David faithful.


1 Amen, amen I say to you: If any man keep my word, he shall not see death for ever.


Then one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, he that was about to betray him, said:


7 But we know this man, whence he is: but when the Christ cometh, no man knoweth whence he is.


9 They sought therefore to take him; and he escaped out of their hands.


4 Jesus answered, and said to them: Although I give testimony of myself, my testimony is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go: but you know not whence I come, or whither I go.


3 Jesus therefore said to them: Yet a little while I am with you: and then I go to him that sent me.


When Jesus therefore had lifted up his eyes, and seen that a very great multitude cometh to him, he said to Philip: Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?


3 But he that received the seed upon good ground, is he that heareth the word, and understandeth, and beareth fruit, and yieldeth the one an hundredfold, and another sixty, and another thirty.


1 You do the works of your father. They said therefore to him: We are not born of fornication: we have one Father, even God.


7 And behold a voice from heaven, saying: This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.


As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.


3 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father. He that confesseth the Son, hath the Father also.
