7 I charge you by the Lord, that this epistle be read to all the holy brethren.


5 For if, because of thy meat, thy brother be grieved, thou walkest not now according to charity. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.


And when his disciples were come over the water, they had forgotten to take bread.


8 And he said to them: Why are you troubled, and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?


The man indeed ought not to cover his head, because he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of the man.

7 He said to him the third time: Simon, son of John, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved, because he had said to him the third time: Lovest thou me? And he said to him: Lord, thou knowest all things: thou knowest that I love thee. He said to him: Feed my sheep.


8 Amen, amen I say to thee, when thou wast younger, thou didst gird thyself, and didst walk where thou wouldst. But when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and lead thee whither thou wouldst not.


1 Him therefore when Peter had seen, he saith to Jesus: Lord, and what shall this man do?
