5 John beareth witness of him, and crieth out, saying: This was he of whom I spoke: He that shall come after me, is preferred before me: because he was before me.

5 And all that sat in the council, looking on him, saw his face as if it had been the face of an angel.


2 But when the ministers came, and opening the prison, found them not there, they returned and told,

Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after justice: for they shall have their fill.


2 And I will take the remnant of Juda that have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt, and to dwell there: and they shall be all consumed in the land of Egypt: they shall fall by the sword, and by the famine: and they shall be consumed from the least even to the greatest, by the sword, and by the famine shall they die: and they shall be for an execration, and for a wonder, and for a curse, and for a reproach.


5 And when he was come into Galilee, the Galileans received him, having seen all the things he had done at Jerusalem on the festival day; for they also went to the festival day.


7 He having heard that Jesus was come from Judea into Galilee, went to him, and prayed him to come down, and heal his son; for he was at the point of death.


6 And I have made known thy name to them, and will make it known; that the love wherewith thou hast loved me, may be in them, and I in them.


For although I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but in all things we have been made manifest to you.
