6 Not that any man hath seen the Father; but he who is of God, he hath seen the Father.


8 And you have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him you believe not.


7 For I have not perished because of the darkness that hangs over me, neither hath the mist covered my face.


2 While I was with them, I kept them in thy name. Those whom thou gavest me have I kept; and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition, that the scripture may be fulfilled.


8 And after these things, Joseph of Arimathea (because he was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews) besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus. And Pilate gave leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus.


7 As he yet spoke, behold Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests and the ancients of the people.


4 How can you believe, who receive glory one from another: and the glory which is from God alone, you do not seek?


0 So when the Samaritans were come to him, they desired that he would tarry there. And he abode there two days.


8 And the second came, saying: Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.


5 Let them immediately bear their confusion, that say to me : 'T is well, 't is well.


1 Now all chastisement for the present indeed seemeth not to bring with it joy, but sorrow: but afterwards it will yield, to them that are exercised by it, the most peaceable fruit of justice.


8 I will arise, and will go to my father, and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee:


And the days being expired, departing we went forward, they all bringing us on our way, with their wives and children, till we were out of the city: and we kneeled down on the shore, and we prayed.


1 The Jews therefore murmured at him, because he had said: I am the living bread which came down from heaven.


And said to him: If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down, for it is written: That he hath given his angels charge over thee, and in their hands shall they bear thee up, lest perhaps thou dash thy foot against a stone.


Every valley shall be filled; and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight; and the rough ways plain;


7 I know that you are the children of Abraham: but you seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.


6 For these things were done, that the scripture might be fulfilled: You shall not break a bone of him.


7 And as Jesus passed from thence, there followed him two blind men crying out and saying, Have mercy on us, O Son of David.
