There is a boy here that hath five barley loaves, and two fishes; but what are these among so many?


1 Our fathers did eat manna in the desert, as it is written: He gave them bread from heaven to eat.


John was in the desert baptizing, and preaching the baptism of penance, unto remission of sins.


5 So they taking the money, did as they were taught: and this word was spread abroad among the Jews even unto this day.


0 And he cometh to his disciples, and findeth them asleep, and he saith to Peter: What? Could you not watch one hour with me?


2 Jesus saith to him: So I will have him to remain till I come, what is it to thee? follow thou me.


0 But they going forth preached every where: the Lord working withal, and confirming the word with signs that followed.


5 And he said to them: Go ye into the whole world, and preach the gospel to every creature.


According as they have delivered them unto us, who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and ministers of the word:


1 Who also said: Ye men of Galilee, why stand you looking up to heaven? This Jesus who is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come, as you have seen him going into heaven.
