I opened the bolt of my door to my beloved: but he had turned aside, and was gone. My soul melted when he spoke: I sought him, and found him not: I called, and he did not answer me.


5 Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy king cometh, sitting on an ass's colt.


But he rising early the first day of the week, appeared first to Mary Magdalen, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

8 But if I by the Spirit of God cast out devils, then is the kingdom of God come upon you.


4 Spikenard and saffron, sweet cane and cinnamon, with all the trees of Libanus, myrrh and aloes with all the chief perfumes.


4 Now therefore, my son, hear me, and attend to the words of my mouth.


5 They shall be brought with gladness and rejoicing: they shall be brought into the temple of the king.


And the Lord established the kingdom in his hand, and all Juda brought presents to Josaphat: and he acquired immense riches, and much glory.


And the time of the mourning being expired, Joseph spoke to the family of Pharao: If I have found favour in your sight, speak in the ears of Pharao:


He brought me into the cellar of wine, he set in order charity in me.


9 But when Herod was dead, behold an angel of the Lord appeared in sleep to Joseph in Egypt,


1 Because many of the Jews, by reason of him, went away, and believed in Jesus.
