0 And when he returned, he found them again asleep, (for their eyes were heavy,) and they knew not what to answer him.


4 And leaving them, he went again: and he prayed the third time, saying the selfsame word.

1 And he took away the horses which the kings of Juda had given to the sun, at the entering in of the temple of the Lord, near the chamber of Nathanmelech the eunuch, who was in Pharurim: and he burnt the chariots of the sun with fire.


8 Then Asa took all the silver and gold that remained in the treasures of the house of the Lord, and in the treasures of the king's house, and delivered it into the hands of his servants : and sent them to Benadad son of Tabremon the son of Hezion, king of Syria, who dwelt in Damascus, saying:


3 And the Lord God sent him out of the paradise of pleasure, to till the earth from which he was taken.


4 And he saith to them: My soul is sorrowful even unto death; stay you here, and watch.


8 Then he saith to them: My soul is sorrowful even unto death: stay you here, and watch with me.


5 And the Lord God took man, and put him into the paradise for pleasure, to dress it, and keep it.


2 And sending he called for him, and said to him: Did I not protest to thee by the Lord, and tell thee before: On what day soever thou shalt go out and walk abroad any whither, know that thou shalt die? And thou answeredst me: The word that I have heard is good.


However the priests of the high places came not up to the altar of the Lord in Jerusalem: but only ate of the unleavened bread among their brethren.


1 And they offered together seven bullocks, and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven he goats for sin, for the kingdom, for the sanctuary, for Juda: and he spoke to the priests the sons of Aaron, to offer them upon the altar of the Lord.


0 And I answered them, and said to them: The God of heaven he helpeth us, and we are his servants: let us rise up and build: but you have no part, nor justice, nor remembrance in Jerusalem.


9 Whom when he had saluted, he related particularly what things God had wrought among the Gentiles by his ministry.


1 Every oblation that is offered to the Lord shall be made without leaven, neither shall any leaven or honey be burnt in the sacrifice to the Lord.


0 Then his disciples leaving him, all fled away.
