And it shall come to pass in that day, that there shall be no light, but cold and frost.


9 And going a little further, he fell upon his face, praying, and saying: My Father, if it be possible, let this chalice pass from me. Nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.


7 I know that you are the children of Abraham: but you seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.

3 These things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you shall have distress: but have confidence, I have overcome the world.

9 Come, and see a man who has told me all things whatsoever I have done. Is not he the Christ?


1 Now is the judgment of the world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.


6 But I have a greater testimony than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to perfect; the works themselves, which I do, give testimony of me, that the Father hath sent me.


3 You sent to John, and he gave testimony to the truth.


8 We heard him say, I will destroy this temple made with hands, and within three days I will build another not made with hands.


There was therefore great joy in that city. Now there was a certain man named Simon, who before had been a magician in that city, seducing the people of Samaria, giving out that he was some great one:


I have manifested thy name to the men whom thou hast given me out of the world. Thine they were, and to me thou gavest them; and they have kept thy word.


5 And he that saw it, hath given testimony, and his testimony is true. And he knoweth that he saith true; that you also may believe.


4 And when we could not persuade him, we ceased, saying: The will of the Lord be done.
