But I tell you the truth: it is expedient to you that I go: for if I go not, the Paraclete will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.


4 He that loveth me not, keepeth not my words. And the word which you have heard, is not mine; but the Father's who sent me.


Little children, let no man deceive you. He that doth justice is just, even as he is just.


5 All things whatsoever the Father hath, are mine. Therefore I said, that he shall receive of mine, and shew it to you.


9 If you know, that he is just, know ye, that every one also, who doth justice, is born of him.


But I say to the unmarried, and to the widows: It is good for them if they so continue, even as I.


1 They therefore that received his word, were baptized; and there were added in that day about three thousand souls.


In which also we all conversed in time past, in the desires of our flesh, fulfilling the will of the flesh and of our thoughts, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest:


2 For which cause also I was hindered very much from coming to you, and have been kept away till now.


2 And they were all astonished, and wondered, saying one to another: What meaneth this?


Jesus answered: Amen, amen I say to thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.


Behold I have given him for a witness to the people, for a leader and a master to the Gentiles.


0 Said: O full of all guile, and of all deceit, child of the devil, enemy of all justice, thou ceasest not to pervert the right ways of the Lord.


1 Who through him are faithful in God, who raised him up from the dead, and hath given him glory, that your faith and hope might be in God.


6 He that knoweth his brother to sin a sin which is not to death, let him ask, and life shall be given to him, who sinneth not to death. There is a sin unto death: for that I say not that any man ask.


4 And let our men also learn to excel in good works for necessary uses: that they be not unfruitful.


In him was life, and the life was the light of men.


John to the seven churches which are in Asia. Grace be unto you and peace from him that is, and that was, and that is to come, and from the seven spirits which are before his throne,


7 For a testament is of force, after men are dead: otherwise it is as yet of no strength, whilst the testator liveth.


6 For some who heard did provoke: but not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.


As we said before, so now I say again: If any one preach to you a gospel, besides that which you have received, let him be anathema.


7 Then we who are alive, who are left, shall be taken up together with them in the clouds to meet Christ, into the air, and so shall we be always with the Lord.


2 For as the body is one, and hath many members; and all the members of the body, whereas they are many, yet are one body, so also is Christ.


The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly from temptation, but to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be tormented.


1 When a strong man armed keepeth his court, those things are in peace which he possesseth.


8 Deal favourably, O Lord, in thy good will with Sion; that the walls of Jerusalem may be built up.


5 But now I shall go to Jerusalem, to minister unto the saints.


9 Because he that is mighty, hath done great things to me; and holy is his name.


And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterwards he was hungry.


3 And again: I will put my trust in him. And again: Behold I and my children, whom God hath given me.


For he also that striveth for the mastery, is not crowned, except he strive lawfully.


Be ye not therefore partakers with them.


For Christ did not please himself, but as it is written: The reproaches of them that reproached thee, fell upon me.


3 For until the law sin was in the world; but sin was not imputed, when the law was not.


6 And when he had said these things, kneeling down, he prayed with them all.


4 For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith. And a great multitude was added to the Lord.


6 Men, brethren, the scripture must needs be fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost spoke before by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who was the leader of them that apprehended Jesus:


0 Many other signs also did Jesus in the sight of his disciples, which are not written in this book.


3 Then Jesus said to them: Amen, amen I say unto you: Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, you shall not have life in you.


9 For in those days shall be such tribulations, as were not from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, neither shall be.


And king Herod hearing this, was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.


4 And let us consider one another, to provoke unto charity and to good works:


4 Amen, amen I say to you, unless the grain of wheat falling into the ground die,


4 For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want cast in all she had, even her whole living.


0 But I have against thee a few things: because thou sufferest the woman Jezabel, who calleth herself a prophetess, to teach, and to seduce my servants, to commit fornication, and to eat of things sacrificed to idols.


2 And he hath subjected all things under his feet, and hath made him head over all the church,


5 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath the faithful with the unbeliever?


And the days being expired, departing we went forward, they all bringing us on our way, with their wives and children, till we were out of the city: and we kneeled down on the shore, and we prayed.


6 After these things I will return, and will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and the ruins thereof I will rebuild, and I will set it up:


9 And they stoned Stephen, invoking, and saying: Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.


2 Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount that is called Olivet, which is nigh Jerusalem, within a sabbath day's journey.


0 And while they were beholding him going up to heaven, behold two men stood by them in white garments.


7 The Pharisees therefore answered them: Are you also seduced?


0 Who was of Simeon, who was of Judas, who was of Joseph, who was of Jona, who was of Eliakim,


5 In holiness and justice before him, all our days.


3 And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?


3 And it came to pass, after the days of his office were accomplished, he departed to his own house.


And he preached, saying: There cometh after me one mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and loose.


8 They have possessed thy holy people as nothing: our enemies have trodden down thy sanctuary.


Which he had promised before, by his prophets, in the holy scriptures,


4 And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, one that worshipped God, did hear: whose heart the Lord opened to attend to those things which were said by Paul.


6 And after some days, Paul said to Barnabas: Let us return and visit our brethren in all the cities wherein we have preached the word of the Lord, to see how they do.


2 Then the proconsul, when he had seen what was done, believed, admiring at the doctrine of the Lord.


But Saul made havock of the church, entering in from house to house, and dragging away men and women, committed them to prison.


1 And there came great fear upon the whole church, and upon all that heard these things.


3 And his father and mother were wondering at those things which were spoken concerning him.


WHEN Jesus therefore was born in Bethlehem of Juda, in the days of king Herod, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem.


1 He findeth first his brother Simon, and saith to him: We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.


Every branch in me, that beareth not fruit, he will take away: and every one that beareth fruit, he will purge it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
