0 And Jesus said to him: Friend, whereto art thou come? Then they came up, and laid hands on Jesus, and held him.


3 Then the disciples understood, that he had spoken to them of John the Baptist.


Again the devil took him up into a very high mountain, and shewed him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them,


And spared not the original world, but preserved Noe, the eighth person, the preacher of justice, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly.


Now that he ascended, what is it, but because he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?


9 To know also the charity of Christ, which surpasseth all knowledge, that you may be filled unto all the fulness of God.


6 And might reconcile both to God in one body by the cross, killing the enmities in himself.


9 The high priest therefore asked Jesus of his disciples, and of his doctrine.


2 His disciples therefore said: Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.


1 He answered: That man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed my eyes, and said to me: Go to the pool of Siloe, and wash. And I went, I washed, and I see.


3 And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and cured the boy, and restored him to his father.

But he said to them: Have you not read what David did when he was hungry, and they that were with him:


How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the loaves of proposition, which it was not lawful for him to eat, nor for them that were with him, but for the priests only?
