5 And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple. And that disciple was known to the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the court of the high priest.

Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three measures apiece.


Come, eat my bread, and drink the wine which I have mingled for you.

2 Then the band and the tribune, and the servants of the Jews, took Jesus, and bound him:

7 You know the word which hath been published through all Judea: for it began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached,


9 The multitude therefore that stood and heard, said that it thundered. Others said: An angel spoke to him.


3 And calling his ten servants, he gave them ten pounds, and said to them: Trade till I come.


9 For which cause, making no doubt, I came when I was sent for. I ask, therefore, for what cause you have sent for me?


9 But hereafter the Son of man shall be sitting on the right hand of the power of God.


8 And he was angry, and would not go in. His father therefore coming out began to entreat him.


3 So likewise every one of you that doth not renounce all that he possesseth, cannot be my disciple.


And he said to them: Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go to him at midnight, and shall say to him: Friend, lend me three loaves,


6 And Jesus said: Somebody hath touched me; for I know that virtue is gone out from me.


He that walketh in the right way, and feareth God, Cis despised by him that goeth by an infamous way.


5 Be not afraid of sudden fear, nor of the power of the wicked falling upon thee.


1 I went out full, and the Lord hath brought me back empty. Why then do you call me Noemi, whom the Lord hath humbled and the Almighty hath afflicted?


3 And king Solomon gave the queen of Saba all that she desired, and asked of him: besides what he offered he himself of his royal bounty. And she returned, and went to her own country with her servants.


And in the midst thereof the likeness of four living creatures: and this was their appearance: there was the likeness of a man in them.


5 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith to him: We have found him of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets did write, Jesus the son of Joseph of Nazareth.


7 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him: and he saith of him: Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no guile.


9 Now of that city many of the Samaritans believed in him, for the word of the woman giving testimony: He told me all things whatsoever I have done.
