And the threshold of the gate by the porch of the gate within, was one reed.


7 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord increased daily together such as should be saved.


At the voice of the angel the people fled, and at the lifting up thyself the nations are scattered.


1 Behold, all the partakers thereof shall be confounded: for the makers are men: they shall all assemble together, they shall stand and fear, and shall be confounded together.


And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be confounded, every one by his own vision, when he shall prophesy, neither shall they be clad with a garment of sackcloth, to deceive :


0 Nor consented to my counsel, but despised all my reproof.


7 The Pharisees therefore answered them: Are you also seduced?


1 They therefore that received his word, were baptized; and there were added in that day about three thousand souls.


4 And the soldiers also asked him, saying: And what shall we do? And he said to them: Do violence to no man; neither calumniate any man; and be content with your pay.


But then indeed, not knowing God, you served them, who, by nature, are not gods.


3 Who hath forwarded the spirit of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor, and hath taught him?


1 He said to Moses: I beseech thee, my lord, lay not upon us this sin, which we have foolishly committed:


4 And Sion said: The Lord hath forsaken me, and the Lord hath forgotten me.


7 And when we were come to Jerusalem, the brethren received us gladly.


6 And the burden of the Lord shall be mentioned no more, for every man's word shall be his burden: for you have perverted the words of the living God, of the Lord of hosts our God.


Behold I have given him for a witness to the people, for a leader and a master to the Gentiles.


5 In holiness and justice before him, all our days.


0 And: Thou in the beginning, O Lord, didst found the earth: and the works of thy hands are the heavens.


2 Shall then a multitude of sheep and oxen be killed, that it may suffice for their food? or shall the fishes of the sea be gathered together to fill them?


But David fled from Najoth, which is in Ramatha, and came and said to Jonathan: What have I done? what is my iniquity, and what is my sin against thy father, that he seeketh my life?


1 And the woman said to him: Whom shall I bring up to thee? And he said, Bring me up Samuel.


He is near that justifieth me, who will contend with me? let us stand together, who is my adversary? let him come near to me.


3 If therefore this people, or the prophet, or the priest shall ask thee, saying: What is the burden of the Lord? thou shalt say to them: You are the burden: for I will cast you away, saith the Lord.


5 They shall say: This land that was untilled is become as a garden of pleasure: and the cities that were abandoned, and desolate, and destroyed, are peopled and fenced.


2 And I will make them one nation in the land on the mountains of Israel, and one king shall be king over them all: and they shall no more be two nations, neither shall they be divided any more into two kingdoms.


I beheld till thrones were placed, and the Ancient of days sat: his garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like clean wool: his throne like flames of fire: the wheels of it like a burning fire.


And he said to him: God forbid, thou shalt not die: for my father will do nothing great or little, without first telling me: hath then my father hid this word only from me? no, this shall not be.
