Doth God pervert judgment, or doth the Almighty overthrow that which is just?


3 Heth. They are new every morning, great is thy faithfulness.

1 Daleth. He hath turned aside my paths, and hath broken me in pieces, he hath made me desolate.


4 Lord, why castest thou off my prayer: why turnest thou away thy face from me?


then said I, Behold I come. In the head of the book it is written of me


Let my enemy be as the ungodly, and my adversary as the wicked one.


5 For the fear which I feared hath come upon me: and that which I was afraid of, hath befallen me.


Shall men hold their peace to thee only? and when thou hast mocked others, shall no man confute thee?


And dost thou think it meet to open thy eyes upon such an one, and to bring him into judgment with thee?


She went therefore and gleaned the ears of corn after the reapers. And it happened that the owner of that field was Booz, who was of the kindred of Elimelech.


2 Speak: Thus saith the Lord: Even the carcass of man shall fall as dung upon the face of the country, and as grass behind the back of the mower, and there is none to gather it.
