0 And David commanded all the assembly: Bless ye the Lord our God. And all the assembly blessed the Lord the God of their fathers: and they bowed themselves and worshipped God, and then the king.


1 Deliver me, And rescue me out of the hand of strange children; whose mouth hath spoken vanity: and their right hand is the right hand of iniquity:


A tree hath hope: if it be cut, it groweth green again, and the boughs thereof sprout.


8 Let these things be written unto another generation: and the people that shall be created shall praise the Lord:


1 Wherefore I will not spare my month, I will speak in the affliction of my spirit: I will talk with the bitterness of my soul.


0 And blessing the king, he went out.


1 Who knoweth the power of thy anger, and for thy fear


2 Hear my prayer, O Lord, and my supplication : give ear to my tears. Be not silent : for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner as all my fathers were.


1 My father laid upon you a heavy yoke, and I will add more weight to it: my father beat you with scourges, but I will beat you with scorpions.


5 He shall lean upon his house, and it shall not stand: he shall prop it up, and it shall not rise:


2 And as long as I thought you said some thing, I considered : but, as I see, there is none of you that can convince Job, and answer his words.


Depart a little from him, that he may rest, until his wished for day come, as that of the hireling.


They have said: Come and let us destroy them, so that they be not a nation: and let the name of Israel be remembered no more.


9 Because he hath looked forth from his high sanctuary: from heaven the Lord hath looked upon the earth.
