There is no health in my flesh, because of thy wrath : there is no peace for my bones, because of my sins.


Thou hast multiplied thy wonderful works, O Lord my God : and in thy thoughts there is no one like to thee. I have declared and I have spoken they are multiplied above number.


If its root be old in the earth, and its stock be dead in the dust:


Who can make him clean that is conceived of unclean seed ? is it not thou who only art?


And Job answered, and said:


8 Now therefore gather thou the rest of the people together, and besiege the city and take it: lest when the city shall be wasted by me, the victory be ascribed to my name.


8 And they sometime bound together without disquiet, have not heard the voice of the oppressor.


Yet if thou wilt arise early to God, and wilt beseech the Almighty:


Silver hath beginnings of its veins, and gold hath a place wherein it is melted.


5 Thou shalt call me, and I will answer thee: to the work of thy hands thou shalt reach out thy right hand.


3 He will spare it, and not leave it, and will hide it in his throat.
