5 Where is now then my expectation, and who considereth my patience?


Abraham begot Isaac. And Isaac begot Jacob. And Jacob begot Judas and his brethren.


3 And he had seven sons, and three daughters.


1 For he will render to a man his work, and according to the ways of every one he will reward them.


5 And therefore I am troubled at his presence, and when I consider him I am made pensive with fear.


0 Shall not the fewness of my days be ended shortly? suffer me, therefore, that I may lament my sorrow a little:


Who is ignorant that the hand of the Lord hath made all these things?


3 How many are my iniquities and sins? make me know my crimes and offences.


1 His wrath is kindled against me, and he hath counted me as his enemy.


Take unto you therefore seven oxen, and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer for yourselves a holocaust : and my servant Job shall pray for you : his face I will accept, that folly be not imputed to you : for you have not spoken right things before me, as my servant Job hath.
