4 Wisdom shineth in the face of the wise: the eyes of fools are in the ends of the earth.


1 See what a letter I have written to you with my own hand.


Charity is patient, is kind: charity envieth not, dealeth not perversely; is not puffed up;


For princes are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? Do that which is good: and thou shalt have praise from the same.


8 And all the multitude of them that were come together to that sight, and saw the things that were done, returned striking their breasts.


2 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people by his own blood, suffered without the gate.


For such an one I will glory; but for myself I will glory nothing, but in my infirmities.


6 And I shall be clothed again with my skin, and in my flesh I will see my God.


0 They have opened their mouths upon me, and reproaching me they have struck me on the cheek, they are filled with my pains.


What knowest thou that we are ignorant of? what dost thou understand that we know not?


1 Abraham answered: I thought with myself, saying: Perhaps there is not the fear of God in this place: and they will kill me for the sake of my wife:


0 Hast not thou made a fence for him, and his house, and all his substance round about, blessed the works of his hands, and his possession hath increased on the earth ?


Thus saith the Lord of hosts: I am returned to Sion, and I will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called The city of truth, and the mountain of the Lord of hosts, The sanctified mountain.


6 A just man falling down before the wicked, is as a fountain troubled with the foot, and a corrupted spring.
