34 And after the Lord had spoken these words to Job, he said to Eliphaz the Themanite : My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends, because you have not spoken the thing that is right before my, as my servant Job hath.

1 The foot of man shall not pass through it, neither shall the foot of beasts go through it: nor shall it be inhabited during forty years.


3 And I said: Then have I in vain justified my heart, and washed my hands among the innocent.


3 Man knoweth not the price thereof, neither is it found in the land of them that live in delights.


As long as breath remaineth in me, and the spirit of God in my nostrils,


1 And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns, like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon.


Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand the hearing? them that are weaned from the milk, that are drawn away from the breasts.


7 Until I go into the sanctuary of God, and understand concerning their last ends.


The king of Egypt said to them: Why do you Moses and Aaron draw off the people from their works? Get you gone to your burdens.


Take unto you therefore seven oxen, and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer for yourselves a holocaust : and my servant Job shall pray for you : his face I will accept, that folly be not imputed to you : for you have not spoken right things before me, as my servant Job hath.
