2 And when the sun was setting, a deep sleep fell upon Abram, and a great and darksome horror seized upon him.


1 Then the Lord God cast a deep sleep upon Adam: and when he was fast asleep, he took one of his ribs, and filled up flesh for it.


7 And how can the servant of my lord speak with my lord? for no strength remaineth in me, moreover my breath is stopped.


6 And the vision of the evening and the morning, which was told, is true: thou therefore seal up the vision, because it shall come to pass after many days.


3 I saw in the vision of my head upon my bed, and behold a watcher, and a holy one came down from heaven.


7 And Daniel made answer before the king, and said: The secret that the king desireth to know, none of the wise men, or the philosophers, or the diviners, or the soothsayers can declare to the king.


1 He said to Moses: I beseech thee, my lord, lay not upon us this sin, which we have foolishly committed:


God said to him: I am the most mighty God of thy father: fear not, go down into Egypt, for I will make a great nation of thee there.


5 Now Jacob had pitched his tent in the mountain: and when he with his brethren had overtaken him, he pitched his tent in the same mount of Galaad.


3 And the Lord leaning upon the ladder, saying to him: I am the Lord God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac; the land, wherein thou sleepest, I will give to thee and to thy seed.


And God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and he said to him: Lo thou shalt die for the woman thou hast taken: for she hath a husband.


9 How much more shall they that dwell in houses of clay, who have an earthly foundation, be consumed as with the moth?
