2 By his power the seas are suddenly gathered together, and his wisdom has struck the proud one.


2 Over them the birds of the air shall dwell: from the midst of the rocks they shall give forth their voices.


4 Wherefore, dearly beloved, waiting for these things, be diligent that you may be found before him unspotted and blameless in peace.


And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.


4 Shall the ploughman plough all the day to sow, shall he open and harrow his ground?


9 O praise ye the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.


How long shall sinners, O Lord: how long shall sinners glory?


Generation and generation shall praise thy works: and they shall declare thy power.


Lift up your gates, O ye princes, and be ye lifted up, O eternal gates: and the King of Glory shall enter in.


3 Nor the office of the priests to the people: but whosoever had offered a sacrifice, the servant of the priest came, while the flesh was in boiling, with a fleshhook of three teeth in his hand,


6 But he that shall sin against me, shall hurt his own soul. All that hate me love death.
