Knowest thou the time when the wild goats bring forth among the rocks, or hast thou observed the hinds when they fawn?


0 Because he hath found complaints against me, therefore he hath counted me for his enemy.


As to the rest, there is laid up for me a crown of justice, which the Lord the just judge will render to me in that day: and not only to me, but to them also that love his coming. Make haste to come to me quickly.


4 But every man is tempted by his own concupiscence, being drawn away and allured.


A time to rend, and a time to sew. A time to keep silence, and a time to speak.


3 Who leave the right way, and walk by dark ways:


7 And one of them said: I beseech thee, my lord, I and this woman dwelt in one house, and I was delivered of a child with her in the chamber.


9 Thou, O king, didst begin to think in thy bed, what should come to pass hereafter: and he that revealeth mysteries shewed thee what shall come to pass.


And the Chaldeans answered the king in Syriac: O king, live for ever: tell to thy servants thy dream, and we will declare the interpretation thereof.


Eliu also proceeded, and said :


2 His soul hath drawn near to corruption, and his life to the destroyers.


Azarias the son of Nathan, over them that were about the king: Zabud, the son of Nathan the priest, the king's friend:


7 If the whole body were the eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling?


0 Thou shalt be over my house, and at the commandment of thy mouth all the people shall obey: only in the kingly throne will I be above thee.


4 And they came from all nations to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and from all the kings of the earth, who heard of his wisdom.


9 He said therefore to Joseph: Seeing God hath shewn thee all that thou hast said, can I find one wiser and one like unto thee?


8 He looseth the belt of kings, and girdeth their loins with a cord.


For what is the hope of the hypocrite if through covetousness he take by violence, and God deliver not his soul?


4 And he sent them to Libanus, ten thousand every month by turns, so that two months they were at home: and Adoniram was over this levy.


1 He poureth contempt upon princes, and relieveth them that were oppressed.


Haughtiness of the eyes is the enlarging of the heart: the lamp of the wicked is sin.


And the multitude of them that fan thee, shall be like small dust: and as ashes passing away, the multitude of them that have prevailed against thee.
