Then Eliphaz the Themanite answered, and said:


8 So that they caused the cry of the needy to come to him, and he heard the voice of the poor.


6 These are murmurers, full of complaints, walking according to their own desires, and their mouth speaketh proud things, admiring persons for gain's sake.


0 And especially them who walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government, audacious, self willed, they fear not to bring in sects, blaspheming.


And now you know what withholdeth, that he may be revealed in his time.


2 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them who labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you:


0 What then shall we say? That the Gentiles, who followed not after justice, have attained to justice, even the justice that is of faith.


1 Not every one that saith to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven: but he that doth the will of my Father who is in heaven, he shall enter into the kingdom of heaven.


9 This also is come forth from the Lord God of hosts, to make his counsel wonderful, and magnify justice.


2 The wise man hath scaled the city of the strong, and hath cast down the strength of the confidence thereof.


Riches shall not profit in the day of revenge: but justice shall deliver from death.


My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and wilt hide my commandments with thee,


5 For what have I in heaven? and besides thee what do I desire upon earth?


for nothing shalt thou save them: in thy anger thou shalt break the people in pieces, O God,


5 And a fire coming out from the Lord, destroyed the two hundred and fifty men that offered the incense.


7 Let the memory of him perish from the earth and let not his name be renowned in the streets.


Hearken to me and be astonished, and lay your finger on your mouth.


2 Shall any one teach God knowledge, who judgeth those that are high?


8 Which is a very great iniquity, and a denial against the most high God.
