1 My days have passed away, my thoughts are dissipated, tormenting my heart.


2 Heth. The mercies of the Lord that we are not consumed: because his commiserations have not failed.


1 If we have forgotten the name of our God, and if we have spread forth our hands to a strange god :


Who is ignorant that the hand of the Lord hath made all these things?


3 They have destroyed my ways, they have lain in wait against me, and they have prevailed, and there was none to help.


4 Sade. Waters have flowed over my head: I said: I am cut off.


5 Cursed be the man that brought the tidings to my father, saying: A man child is born to thee: and made him greatly rejoice.
