9 An unjust man allureth his friend: and leadeth him into a way that is not good

4 Cast in thy lot with us, let us all have one purse.


1 Scatter the proud in thy indignation, and behold every arrogant man, and humble him.

2 At the right hand of my rising, my calamities forthwith arose: they have overthrown my feet, and have overwhelmed me with their paths as with waves.


4 They have rushed in upon me, as when a wall is broken, and a gate opened, and have rolled themselves down to my miseries.


2 Thou hast seen, O Lord, be not thou silent : O Lord, depart not from me.


4 Draw thee water for the siege, build up thy bulwarks: go into the clay, and tread, work it and make brick.
