1 Son of man, set thy face against Sidon: and thou shalt prophesy of it,


0 It shall no more be inhabited for ever, and it shall not be founded unto generation and generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch his tents there, nor shall shepherds rest there.


6 Instead of thy fathers, sons are born to thee: thou shalt make them princes over all the earth.


And the people rejoiced, when they promised their offerings willingly: because they offered them to the Lord with all their heart: and David the king rejoiced also with a great joy.


3 And two rings of gold, which thou shalt put in the two ends at the top of the rational.


0 Whence then cometh wisdom? and where is the place of understanding?


2 Destruction and death have said: With our ears we have heard the fame thereof.


Thy teeth as a flock of sheep, which come up from the washing, all with twins, and there is none barren among them.


Why do you spend money for that which is not breed, and your labour for that which doth not satisfy you? Hearken diligently to me, and eat that which is good, and your soul shall be delighted in fatness.


5 Samech. Depart you that are defiled, they cried out to them: Depart, get ye hence, touch not: for they quarrelled, and being removed, they said among the Gentiles: He will no more dwell among them.
