1 Thou also by the blood of thy testament hast sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit, wherein is no water.


7 And which of you by taking thought, can add to his stature by one cubit?


1 Behold, we account them blessed who have endured. You have heard of the patience of Job, and you have seen the end of the Lord, that the Lord is merciful and compassionate.


4 For the earth shall be filled, that men may know the glory of the Lord, as waters covering the sea.


9 For he that hath been humbled, shall be in glory: and he that shall bow down his eyes, he shall be saved.


And he had seven hundred wives as queens, and three hundred concubines: and the women turned away his heart.


0 Why is light given to him that is in misery, and life to them that are in bitterness of soul?


4 For the congregation of the hypocrite is barren, and fire shall devour their tabernacles, who love to take bribes.


5 The riches which he hath swallowed; he shall vomit up, and God shall draw them out of his belly.


0 Poverty like water shall take hold on him, a tempest shall oppress him in the night.


2 And he shall cast upon him, and shall not spare: out of his hand he would willingly flee.


Where there are no oxen, the crib is empty: but where there is much corn, there the strength of the ox is manifest.


A time to rend, and a time to sew. A time to keep silence, and a time to speak.


Assemble yourselves together, be gathered together, O nation not worthy to be loved:


For how call I endure the murdering and slaughter of my people?
