The just taketh notice of the cause of the poor: the wicked is void of knowledge.


5 And he that holdeth the bow shall not stand, and the swift of foot shall not escape, neither shall the rider of the horse save his life.


9 Let him pass from the snow waters to excessive heat, and his sin even to hell.


Who were clothed with blue, princes, and rulers, beautiful youths, all horsemen, mounted upon horses.


6 For when the just turneth himself away from his justice, and committeth iniquity, he shall die therein: in the injustice that he hath wrought he shall die.


0 The soul that sinneth, the same shall die: the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, and the father shall not bear the iniquity of the son: the justice of the just shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.


0 As my hand hath found the king- dome of the idol, so also their idols of Jerusalem, and of Samaria.


1 By three things the earth is disturbed, and the fourth it cannot bear:


9 He that tilleth his ground, shall be filled with bread: but he that followeth idleness shall be filled with poverty.


3 Because the Lord will judge his cause, and will afflict them that have afflicted his soul.


3 I am taken away like the shadow when it declineth: and I am shaken off as locusts.


They determined against me an unjust word : shall he that sleepeth rise again no more?


1 If I have lifted up my hand against the fatherless, even when I saw myself superior in the gate:


0 My skin is become black upon me, and my bones are dried up with heat.


7 I broke the jaws of the wicked man, and out of his teeth I took away the prey.


1 They that heard me, waited for my sentence, and being attentive held their peace at my counsel.


4 If I have thought gold my strength, and have said to fine gold: My confidence:


The eyes of the Lord in every place behold the good and the evil.


I struck you with a burning wind, and with mildew, the palmerworm hath eaten up your many gardens, and your vineyards: your olive groves, and fig groves: yet you returned not to me, saith the Lord.
