That thou shouldst inquire after my iniquity, and search after my sin?


1 Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye just, and glory, all ye right of heart.


1 For he knoweth the vanity of men, and when he seeth iniquity, doth he not consider it?


6 I have done with hope, I shall now live no longer: spare me, for my days are nothing.


I would not that he should contend with me with much strength, nor overwhelm me with the weight of his greatness.


But if I go to the east, he appeareth not; if to the west, I shall not understand him.


If thou sin, what shalt thou hurt him? and if thy iniquities be multiplied, what shalt thou do against him?


4 And Ezechiel shall be unto you for a sign of things to come: according to all that he hath done, so shall you do, when this shall come to pass: and you shall know that I am the Lord God.


6 Lamed. To destroy a man wrongfully in his judgment, the Lord hath not approved.
