For thus saith the Lord concerning the sons and daughters, that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bore them: and concerning their fathers, of whom they were born in this land:


10 Sinners have laid a snare for me: but I have not erred from thy precepts.


2 And they said to the woman: We now believe, not for thy saying: for we ourselves have heard him, and know that this is indeed the Saviour of the world.


8 Open thou my eyes: and I will consider the wondrous things of thy law.


7 Thou shalt pray to him, and he will hear thee, and thou shalt pay vows.


9 They answered, and said to him: Abraham is our father. Jesus saith to them: If you be the children of Abraham, do the works of Abraham.


0 So when the Samaritans were come to him, they desired that he would tarry there. And he abode there two days.


34 Redeem me from the calumnies of men: that I may keep thy commandments.

8 And now, little children, abide in him, that when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be confounded by him at his coming.


6 How much more is man abominable, and unprofitable, who drinketh iniquity like water?


Times are not hid from the Almighty: but they that know him, know not his days.


8 Behold the eyes of the Lord are on them that fear him: and on them that hope in his mercy.
