1 But now without the law the justice of God is made manifest, being witnessed by the law and the prophets.


0 Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why then doth every one of us despise his brother, violating the covenant of our fathers?


7 Saying to a stock: Thou art my father: and to a stone: thou hast begotten me: they have turned their back to me, and not their face: and in the time of their affliction they will say: Arise, and deliver us.


Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and shalt find the knowledge of God.


1 There was nothing left of his meat, and therefore nothing shall continue of his goods:


9 O that they would be wise and would understand, and would provide for their last end.


8 He shall be punished for all that he did, and yet shall not be consumed: according to the multitude of his devices so also shall he suffer.


0 And yet his belly was not filled: and when he hath the things he coveted, he shall not be able to possess them.


8 The offspring of his house shall be exposed, he shall be pulled down in the day of God's wrath.


4 The steps of man are guided by the Lord: but who is the man that can understand his own way?
