If at any time he said: The speckled shall be thy wages: all the sheep brought forth speckled: but when he said on the contrary: Thou shalt take all the white ones for thy wages: all the flocks brought forth white ones.


They answered again and said: Let the king tell his servants the dream, and we will declare the interpretation of it.


5 Let not the tempest of water drown me, nor the deep swallow me up: and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.


2 Why do you persecute me as God, and glut yourselves with my flesh?


7 Of them that built on the wall and that carried burdens, and that laded: with one of his hands he did the work, and with the other he held a sword.


9 Thou shalt rest, and there shall be none to make thee afraid: and many shall entreat thy face.


He is higher than heaven, and what wilt thou do ? he is deeper than hell, and how wilt thou know?


7 How long doth this wicked multitude murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel.


1 Insomuch that I will bring your cities to be a wilderness, and I will make your sanctuaries desolate, and will receive no more your sweet odours.


And though he knew his brethren, he was not known by them.


Behold I cry suffering violence, and no one will hear: I shall cry aloud, and there is none to judge.


He hath stripped me of my glory, and hath taken the crown from my head.


As a dream that fleeth away he shall not be found, he shall pass as a vision of the night:
