The life of man upon earth is a warfare, and his days are like the days of a hireling.


Art thou the first man that was born, or wast thou made before the hills ?


To speak evil of no man, not to be litigious, but gentle: shewing all mildness towards all men.


That they may teach the young women to be wise, to love their husbands, to love their children,


But be not you called Rabbi. For one is your master; and all you are brethren.


As a dream that fleeth away he shall not be found, he shall pass as a vision of the night:


Insomuch, that if thy former things were small, thy latter things would be multiplied exceedingly.


2 And it came to pass, as she multiplied prayers before the Lord, that Heli observed her mouth.


7 He shall prepare indeed, but the just man shall be clothed with it: and the innocent shall divide the silver.
