Although thy children have sinned against him, and he hath left them in the hand of their iniquity:


2 Daleth. He hath bent his bow, and set me as a mark for his arrows.


6 Arise, O Lord, help us and redeem us for thy name's sake.


3 Salute Rufus, elect in the Lord, and his mother and mine.


And the rest laid hands on his servants, and having treated them contumeliously, put them to death.


5 It shall be the lowest among other kingdoms, and it shall no more be exalted over the nations, and I will diminish them that they shall rule no more over the nations.


The young men saw me, and hid themselves: and the old men rose up and stood.


1 He shall not believe, being vainly deceived by error, that he may be redeemed with any price.


2 One thing there is that I have spoken, both the innocent and the wicked he consumeth.


7 What is a man that thou shouldst magnify him? or why dost thou set thy heart upon him?


5 And when a spirit passed before me, the hair of my flesh stood up.


But now the scourge is come upon thee, and thou faintest: it hath touched thee, and thou art troubled.


6 My face is swollen with weeping, and my eyelids are dim.


And that he that hath begun may destroy me, that he may let loose his hand, and cut me off?


They have overturned the way of the poor, and have oppressed together the meek of the earth.
