7 But if thou art called a Jew and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,


1 And I will visit the evils of the world, and against the wicked for their iniquity: and I will make the pride of infidels to cease, and will bring down the arrogancy of the mighty.


For it is better that it should be said to thee: Come up hither; than that thou shouldst be humbled before the prince.


8 A heart that deviseth wicked plots, feet that are swift to run into mischief,


My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and wilt hide my commandments with thee,


50 They that persecute me have drawn nigh to iniquity; but they are gone far off from the law.


5 For he hath stretched out his hand against God, and hath strengthened himself against the Almighty.


6 He hath run against him with his neck raised up, and is armed with a fat neck.


8 He hath dwelt in desolate cities, and in desert houses that are reduced into heaps.


0 He shall not depart out of darkness: the flame shall dry up his branches, and he shall be taken away by the breath of his own month.


And the army of Pharao was come out of Egypt: and the Chaldeans that besieged Jerusalem, hearing these tidings, departed from Jerusalem.


6 I called my servant, and he gave me no answer, I entreated him with my own mouth.


7 My wife hath abhorred my breath, and I entreated the children of my womb.
