6 O! let thy mercy be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.


Their tongue is a piercing arrow, it hath spoken deceit: with his mouth one speaketh peace with his friend, and secretly he lieth in wait for him.


2 Thus saith the Lord: Behold a people cometh from the land of the north, and a great nation shall rise up from the ends of the earth.


4 And he said to her: Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole: go in peace, and be thou whole of thy disease.


5 And he said to them: Have you never read what David did when he had need, and was hungry himself, and they that were with him?


For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice: and the knowledge of God more than holocausts.


2 As the shepherd visiteth his hock in the day when he shall be in the midst of his sheep that were scattered, so will I visit my sheep, and will deliver them out of all the places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.


9 Furnish thyself to go into captivity, thou daughter inhabitant of Egypt: for Memphis shall be made desolate, and shall be forsaken and uninhabited.


1 And their leader shall be of themselves: and their prince shall come forth from the midst of them : and I will bring him near, and he shall come to me: for who is this that setteth his heart to approach to me, saith the Lord?


0 And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame which shall never be forgotten.


But now my sorrow hath oppressed me, and all my limbs are brought to nothing.


6 You dress up speeches only to rebuke, and you utter words to the wind.


9 Saying to Moses: Speak thou to us, and we will hear: let not the Lord speak to us, lest we die.


3 For he had taken money, that I being afraid should do this thing, and sin, and they might have some evil to upbraid me withal.


0 They are confounded, because I have hoped: they are come also even unto me, and are covered with shame.


5 Why have you detracted the words of truth, whereas there is none of you that can reprove me?


7 He shall prepare indeed, but the just man shall be clothed with it: and the innocent shall divide the silver.
