6 And he that had received the five talents, went his way, and traded with the same, and gained other five.


6 The prudent mall doth all things with counsel: but he that is a fool, layeth open his folly.


2 They have taken me, as a lion prepared for the prey; and as a young lion dwelling in secret places.


7 Consider the lilies, how they grow: they labour not, neither do they spin. But I say to you, not even Solomon in all his glory was clothed like one of these.


4 And I will scatter them as stubble, which is carried away by the wind in the desert.


7 The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, which searcheth all the hidden things of the bowels.


Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving; and make a joyful noise to him with psalms.


0 A gin is hidden for him in the earth, and his trap upon the path.


He hath gathered together his fury against me, and threatening me he hath gnashed with his teeth upon me: my enemy hath beheld me with terrible eyes.


0 And that this may be my comfort, that afflicting me with sorrow, he spare not, nor I contradict the words of the Holy One.


0 I will lift up my hand to heaven, and I will say: I live for ever.


Who is ignorant that the hand of the Lord hath made all these things?


1 Doth not the ear discern words, and the palate of him that eateth, the taste?
